Jeanette Baity (aka Jeanette Moffat) is a pattern maker, sample engineer, and soft goods specialist with 20+ years of experience building things by hand across the stop-motion animation and toy industries.
Her career began at Shadow Machine's Santa Monica studio in 2004 as a puppet fabricator on Robot Chicken, eventually leading to a 2010 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design for Titan Maximum. From stop-motion animation, she moved into the toy industry, joining Hasbro as a fashion doll Sample & Pattern Maker — creating sewing patterns and sewn samples for Disney & Universal licensed IP. At Hasbro she gained deep insight into product development and designing for manufacturing.
In 2021 she founded BaityLady Studio, a boutique soft goods development service for corporate clients and independent inventors. Her business conveniently offers project management, design, sewing patterns, textile design, fabric prints, sewn samples, and technical specs all in one place. She brings a rare combination of hands-on fabrication craft and technical precision to every project.
